Our Partners
Our partners at Mama Respond have contributed to fulfilling our mission of creating a better future for mothers and children Australia and Kenya-wide.
Kenyan Ministry of Education, Science and Technology
Fireteller Film & Story
Mama Respond has partnered with the Kenyan Ministry of Education, Sceince and Technology to further the accessibility of education to children with special needs through the Inclusive Schools Program.
The ministry generously donated 100 square feet of land at Noonkopir Primary School to the cause, now being home to a Special Needs Unit. The unit has since been handed over to the ministry, being maintained by them to uphold the rights of children and people with disabilities.
The Rotary Foundation - WA, USA & Kenya
Rotary Clubs in Western Australia, the United States and Kenya are good friends of Mama Respond. We have executed two Foundation grants with Applecross Rotary in the lead and Embakasi and Stoni Athi Clubs hosting the grants with transparency and gusto.
40 children with special needs now have access to hygienic education daily and healthcare assessments, impacting more than 50 people. Local clubs in WA continue to support our mission – Applecross, Belmont, Booragoon, Burswood, Cannington, Heirisson, Kenwick, Manjimup, Scarborough, Victoria Park.
The Meridian Global Foundation
The Meridian Global Foundation provided Mama Respond a $10,000 grant in 2023, which was spent to roll out mental and maternal healthcare training to our Strong Mamas.
Their foundation aims to inspire professionals to pursue philanthropy in their everyday lives to help people give back to the community in a sustainable way.
This grant has supported 125 mothers of children with special needs to access education, peer support and healthcare.
