Mama Respond focuses on addressing the individual needs of children with special needs through a collaborative approach involving the school, county physiotherapist, and supportive partners.
Child Chats
We initiated Child Chats, inviting the mothers of the children to share the history and background of their child's diagnosis. This information empowered the mothers to make informed decisions regarding the well-being of their children.
Whenever possible, we supported the mothers, and in some cases, we accompanied them and their children throughout their journey until a complete intervention was achieved.
Witnessing the positive impact of milestones being achieved, children being integrated into regular schools, or averting challenges in their daily lives fueled Mama Respond's ongoing exploration of different avenues to assist these children.
Understanding their specific needs, we actively advocate for waivers and collaborate with disease-specific organisations to support the children within our reach.
Mama Respond's commitment to assisting children with special needs remains unwavering.
We continuously seek opportunities to understand their needs better and strive to address them by leveraging partnerships, lobbying for necessary resources, and supporting their overall well-being.
