other ways to help
Fundraise on Facebook
Whether it’s for your birthday or a special occasion or just because you want to, you can start a Facebook fundraiser. 100% of donations are received by Mama Respond.
Write to a Child
Write to a child to encourage them through their life journey. There is significant negative stigma around disabilities in Kenya. Your words of encouragement can help a student who might be struggling in the community.

Make Children's Toys
Few dolls, trucks, jigsaws, and fine motor-skill toys are found in Kenya. Such toys are very important for development in a child’s life.
Due to the harsh terrain of Kitengela, we accept wooden toys and hard plastic dolls. Get in touch with us if you wish to donate homemade toys.
Donate a Story
We wish to produce children's books that are illustrated by the students at the special needs unit. We just need a story. If you want to donate an original children’s story, we will gladly consider it. All funds raised through the selling of the book will directly fund our projects.
Host a Fundraiser
There are many fun and entertaining fundraising events that you can hold in the name of Mama Respond International.
You could host a garden party, quiz night, car wash, go fund me page, community sausage sizzle and much more.
If you would like to host an event, please get in contact with us. We would love to give a speech and thank your guests personally.
Got another idea?
Workplace giving? Estate and gift planning? Something else? If you've got a unique idea on how you or your organisation can help us, we'd love to hear it.
